Hydroquinone is Dangerous

Hydroquinone is Dangerous.

Hydroquinone is used as a cosmetic skin-bleaching agent, but in some countries it is banned because it can cause white patches on the face (leukoderma) with confetti-like depigmentation and subcutaneous (below the surface of the skin) dark collections of pigment (exogenous ochonosis).

Furthermore, according to researchers, long-term effects, including cancer are most likely.

Kidney tumors and leukemia (white blood cell cancer) occurred in animal experiments, which have exposed its carcinogenic and nephrotoxic (kidney-damaging) properties. It has also been show to cause DNA damage.

Daily use causes it to accumulate in the body by absorption through the skin faster than it can be excreted in the urine. In 2001, it was banned in The Netherlands.

DermCareMD recommends their safe and effective Hyperpigmentation Lightening Treatment with Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (vitamin C), Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Extract, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Rumex Occidentalis Extract, Retinol, Glucosamine Sulfate, Ursolic Acid, and Tocopherol (vitamin E), PhosphatidylCholine and Squalane at the special 40% off price, currently on sale for $41.40 at http://www.dermcaremd.com/.
